Baviaanskloof Route
No list of routes can ignore this one. The (in)famous Baviaanskloof. Beautiful unspoilt scenery. This route follows the Baviaanskloof river and has numerous river crossings. Walk these first if you are not sure and be careful especially in the rainy season. The dirt passes are narrow with big drops next to the road. Be aware of oncoming 4x4 traffic that might surprise you round sharp bends in the road on these passes. This is a "must do" route for any serious adventure motorcyclist in South Africa.
