Prince William arrived on a Ducati at a polo match yesterday. According to the Telegraph in Londen he arrived fully kitted out in leathers and dark visored helmet at a charity polo match. It must have been disappointing having to swop all those horses for just one...

I can defnitely see the attraction. On a bike with a dark visor he could be anyone. Nobody will recognise him in traffic. I should think that is definitely attractive towards anyone who is constantly in the public eye.

Although the bike in question was a 1198s road bike, both Prince Harry and Prince William are known for their off-road biking skills and have been riding from a young age. They have also participated in an off-road ride through Lesotho in order to raise funds for charity. Prince Harry was also fotographed during his tour of duty in Afghanistan on a motorycyle.

Hopefully headlines such as these will change the perception that some people have towards bikers. Anyway, if it is fit for a king (well in this case a prince) it is fit for me.
